Sun 16 Nov 2008  League
Lessa Albion 1
Willett Wanderers 2

Anthony Fellows (1)
Ross Mackie (1)

We turned up at the game feeling with great confidence after the last time we beat them which was 6-1. But from the start it was apparent the Lessa team were up for the game and from the previous fixture we knew it would be an physical encounter. After the first ten minutes Ross scored a goal as smooth as you like for the visitors to take the lead. In truth we were the better of the two sides from kickoff but we couldn’t finish our chances. This left Lessa to get back into the game after scoring a goal from the corner after some poor marking.
In the second half Mason came on for Adil, Jack Burkett came on for Alex. Adil and Alex had played well but it was time for them to have a rest. 10 minutes into the second half Sam came on for Louis. Finally with 5 minutes left, Anthony was on hand to score a tap-in which was well deserved. I would say man of the match was Matt Norris.
